I live in Florida and if you know anything about Florida you know it’s hot and humid almost 85% of the time. In the Fall, It gets really cool in the morning and late at night, but super hot during midday. So, the first tip is to make your outfit

1.Transformable

It’s usually cool in the day time, I suggest wearing a cardigan or sweater or super light coat like the one above and remove it when it starts to get warmer. Make sure, what you choose to wear underneath are also wearable on its own. For example, If you decided to wear a bomber jacket, when it get’s warmer, simply remove it and tie it around your waste. That way the outfit is still put together, but you’re able to transform it any way you like. The second tip is…

2. Wear Lightweight Clothing

Although it gets cool, it’s never cool enough for heavy warm clothing. Choose light clothing, like this white top from H&M or knitted tops. Opt for light distress jeans or boyfriend jeans, instead of tightly fitted pants. Mini Leather skirts are another way to stay within the fall spirit without overheating.

3. Stay within fall’s color palettes

When you here fall in the makeup world, the first thing that comes to mind is dark lipsticks and smokey eyes. In fashion, it’s all about darker neutral colors. Find clothes that are warm, but still stay within the fall color palette, like a khaki bomber or a gray sweater. Most common fall colors are white, blacks, grays, khakis, marroon…etc.

4. Booties

I know I want to throw on over the knee booties in the fall, but I would have to take them off within two hours. The perfect alternative to long boots is booties.
