Everyone has their go-to products when it comes to beauty and skincare. That means most people aren’t quick to try out new products, and I totally get it. However, if you are interested in trying something new, these are some of my absolute fave beauty and skincare products. I highly recommend giving them a try.
Tula Cult Favourite Cleanser
There’s a reason this cleanser is a Tula Cult favorite! It’s so great for removing make-up and unlike a lot of other cleansers I’ve tried, it gets everything off and leaves my skin feeling fresh and moisturized. I also love how gentle it is on my skin as other products can be quite harsh.
Mac Lipliner in Chestnut
This lip liner is a definite must-have for every black girl. I don’t often find lip liners that work well with my skin tone and with nude lipsticks, but this chestnut shade does all of that! This color really adds some warmth to my lighter glosses and lipsticks and makes those lighter shades more wearable for me. It’s so easy to blend, so soft on my lips, and lasts hours, so I don’t have to worry about reapplying when I’m out and about.
Mac Mineralize Skinfinish powder
This Mac powder is a great addition to my make-up bag. My favorite part about it is its versatility. It has great coverage for a full face-beat, but it’s also soft enough for when you just want a gentle and natural look. I love the slight glow it adds to my skin.
Caudalie Des Vignes Body & Hair Nourishing Oil
Most people tend to stay away from oils to avoid that greasy look that some body oils tend to leave, but with this oil, you don’t have to worry about that! It’s a nice and dry oil that leaves my skin soft and glowing. The lovely warm scent of the oil makes it even better.
Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum
This vitamin C serum works magic on my skin. Even after using it for a short period of time, I could already see the difference in smoothness in my skin. It helps so much with breakouts and any unevenness and hyperpigmentation.
I don’t recommend trying too many different beauty and skincare products at once, however, these 5 products are an awesome place to start. I can’t wait to hear your reviews.
