I love a good face mask, but most importantly I love a good affordable face mask. I was searching for some beauty DIY on pinterest to try and recreate here and decided on  the avocado mask. Although, I hate avocados, guacamole…… ( I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING! HOW COULD I? ) YEAH, the only time I would have avocados is on my face. This mask is super easy to do, only require 3 main ingredients, but have a tons of benefits. Trust me after trying this mask after a few time, your face will thank you…

Ingredients Needed

Avocado

Contains Vitamin A, which is a form of retinol, which means it would help reduce discoloration and dryness.

Honey

Honey helps to fix pimples, scars, wrinkles and even (of course) dry skin. It’s basically the best thing in your kitchen to slap on your face.

Vitamin E Oil ( OPTIONAL)

Act an antioxidant, and it helps calm and hydrate sensitive skin. I would only recommend adding vitamin E oil, if applying mask at night because it’s super greasy.

Lemon

Lemon is that one item that you can use on EVERYTHING! seriously, if your relationship going bad, squeeze a slice of lemon on it LOL…Lemons are rich in vitamin C and citric acid, so they can help brighten and lighten your skin when used over time. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant for neutralizing free radicals and boosting collagen production. Don’t worry it’s not going to bleach your skin.

I used an old Lush container to store the remainder of the mask. I would recommend storing it for a maximum of 4 days. I used an old monogram printable I printed months ago to add a bit more “girly” to it. OHH! if you don’t own a lush jar, I would highly recommend using a mason jar.
