After ditching my last pair of bootcut jeans for skinny jeans in 2007, I never thought I would encounter another flare jeans in my life. Ohh! So I thought. If you are like me and stay up to date with the evolution of fashion, you know by now that majority ( if not all ) of the styles that we grew up wearing or our great grandmother grew up wearing are slowly making comebacks. Designers are not only replacating the style we’ve seen before but they are adding modern twists to them. For example, the boot cut jeans as we knew back then now look and feel different. Nowadays, these jeans start off by being fitted at the top as if they were skinny and flare out at the knee. It’s the best of both world. So in today’s post I’m showing you guys how I style my Flare jeans and some other ways you can too.
When putting together this outfit, my objective was to keep the 70’s theme but with a modern twist. I love how the pants elongate my legs, making making me appear slightly taller, which is why I wanted to pair it with a turtle neck. I continued by adding the glasses to add a 70’s disco vibe, but added a blazer and large sun hat for a sophisticated modern look.

I’m doing something different on my style post, instead of showing you guys what I’m wearing and where I get it from, I want to show you guys how to recreate the same look in different ways.
3 ways to style Flared jeans
- For the spring/summer look, you can add a boho fringe crop top, same accessories I used on this post and chunky wedge heels. This look is perfect if attending any festivals this spring/summer, this look scream coachella all over it.
- Instead of blue jeans, switch it up by getting white flared jeans, pair it with a white turtle neck like the one above, add a white blazer and statement sunglasses, and I promise you, there will be stares.
- If you are not into turtle neck, pair this look with a loose button down white top, brown wedges, and keep the accessories to a minimum and BAM!
* I would link some items to recreate this look later*
Thanks, for stopping by and let me in the comments how would you recreate this look and why?
